PM Modi may dedicate Okha – Bet Dwarka Sea Bridge on 22nd February

JAMNAGAR : Iconic bridge over Arabian sea, connecting coastal village Okha to pilgrim island Bet Dwarka is likely to be opened by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 22nd February. Rs. 1,000 crore bridge is 2.75 km long. It connects mainland to Bet Dwarka island which is so far accessible only via boats.The local administration has started preparations for the event.

Meanwhile, according to the district Collector of Rajkot, the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in Rajkot is all set for opening, and Prime Minister may dedicate it in first half of February. Construction of connecting roads, installation of machines and other procedures are completed at Rajkot AIIMS. After inauguration, AIIMS Rajkot will also be able to take indoor patients. So far the facility is offering only OPD facilities for outdoor patients.
