Röhlig Logistics further expands its global network and opens two new offices in India

BREMEN : Röhlig Logistics is expanding its network in India with two more offices in Hyderabad and Vizag. The two locations were chosen due to their growing potential for customers from the pharmaceutical industry as well as the developing healthcare, IT, consumer goods and chemical industries. Madhumita Tripathi, Managing Director, Röhlig India, explains, “In this era of Covid-19, the importance of a well-connected supply chain for businesses is all the more evident. A team of experts in strategic locations such as Hyderabad and Vizag can be critical to success when it comes to implementing innovative logistics solutions for our customers.

As a rapidly-growing gateway port with close connections with South East Asia, Vizag is set to help solidify Röhlig’s network in Eastern India while growing the scope of the logistics services on offer. Meanwhile, Hyderabad boasts an international airport, thriving tech and IT market and lies equidistant to some of India’s major ports. The two new offices will be staffed by an expert team already familiar with local industries such as pharmaceuticals, as well as the region’s transport networks. The team has more than 20 years of experience in freight forwarding. Following the opening of the two new locations, Röhlig will have a total of twelve offices operating in India.
