Cosco Shipping launches world’s first battery-electric container ship

SHANGHAI : Chinese shipping giant COSCO Shipping launched the world’s first 10,000-DWT pure electric container ships, which it developed and constructed at the Heavy Industry Shipyard at Yangzhou.
