Transworld Group extends support to India’s fight against corona

DUBAI : Transworld Group has extended its support in fighting the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic in India. The company has announced a slew of measures taken in this direction. They include:

Logistics Support for Oxygen from UAE to India:

• Logistics support for transporting 7 tank containers to Mundra on behalf of DP world
• Transportation support for 3X20’ containers containing 600 cylinders of oxygen to Mundra on behalf of Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS)
• Transportation of 30 oxygen concentrates by air freight to Ahmedabad on behalf of Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS)
• Logistics support for transporting two cryogenic tanks carrying 40MT of liquid oxygen for Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS)

Support for Medical Equipment:

• Distribution of 200 NHale Bipap Non-Invasive Ventilators donated by Nanotronics Health, a healthcare company based out of USA, to be distributed in Government and Charitiable Hospitals in Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat and Kochi
• 1000 PPE kits donated to Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Hospitals, Maharashtra
• Oximeters, faceshield and sanitizers donation to Maharashtra Police
• Donation of one high flow nasal canula to Maharashtra Government

Infrastructural Support:

• Support for setting up beds in Lilasha Hospital, Kandla, Gujrat
• Support for beds and mattresses to set up 100 beds Covid Treatment Facility by Municipal Corporation of Kochi at Samudrika Hall of Kochi Port Trust
