Xylem World Trade Solutions commence Exports through BCN Rake Handling Services from CONCOR DRTA
MUMBAI : To cater to the growing demand from the Exporters of agricultural commodities in containerised form, Xylem World Trade Solutions Pvt Ltd. started offering various services pertaining to BCN Rake handling and associated transportation service through CONCOR’s Dronagiri Rail Terminal Container Freight Station (DRT CFS) facility at Nhava Sheva Mumbai with effect from March 2025.
With its experience and expertise in BCN Rake handling for agricultural commodities in bagged and bulk form, not only containerised but also break bulk and bulk operations at Port Terminals and its connect with the vast number of shippers, custom house agents and freight forwarders in the trade, Xylem World Trade Solutions Pvt. Ltd. approached CONCOR DRT to reactivate BCN Rake handling facility from their Dronagiri Rail Terminal CFS.
CONCOR DRT having state of the art infrastructure with rail siding and 41840 sq. meters warehousing space and Xylem, being expert in offering customised, reliable and efficient logistics solutions to its customer, came together and initiated BCN Rake handling services and since 22nd March 2025, Xylem World Trade Solution Pvt Ltd have handled 5 BCN Rakes till now with joint efforts along with CONCOR DRT and their handling agent SAM Surveyors and Adjusters.
While talking to the media, Mr. Dhananjay Borase Director of Xylem World Trade Solutions Pvt. Ltd. shared that “I have received very positive support from Mr. V. Kiran Kumar mentioned that “we worked as a team to make this operation and services successful from CONCOR Dronagiri Rail Terminal. We are well equipped to facilitate multiple services to the trade with our State-of-the-Art Infrastructure having Rail Linkage CFS in the Nhava Sheva with total 3 Rail Lines including 2 shunting lines and 5 warehouses total of 41840 Sq. meters area including 2000 sq. meters Bonded warehousing facility. We have increased our CCTV Camera coverage apart from the security to monitor the EXIM Cargo related services in safe and secured manner.”
