Sudhansh Pant, IAS,(OSD, MoPSW) visited Chennai Port

CHENNAI : Shri Sudhansh Pant, IAS, Officer on Special Duty, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, GoI visited and welcomed at Chennai Port, by Chairman Shri Sunil Paliwal IAS, and S. Balaji Arunkumar, IRTS, Dy.Chairperson, Chennai Port Authority with their team on 21.01.2023.

During the visit, Sudhansh Pant, IAS, has unveiled the new 20 m high flag mast and hoisted the National Flag. Further, he laid Foundation Stones for Development of Buffer Parking yard for Container Trailers at the back up area at Berth No. 24B at an estimated cost of Rs. 52.85 Cr. and for Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant of 90 KLD Capacity on advanced MBBR Technology with PVA Gel Media, at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.57 Cr.

During the visit inside the Harbour Port Area Shri. Sudhansh Pant, IAS participated in tree plantation and visited the Bunker Berth, Buffer parking yard, Cruise Terminal, and inspected the renovation of Shed at JD III.
