Export Import Logistics and Supply Chain Management Programme by EDII

CHENNAI : Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII), Chennai, will conduct an online training programme on “Export Import Logistics and Supply Chain Management” on February 23 and 24. It will be held on the EDII website between 2.30pm and 5.30pm on both days.

The subjects covered under the topics on Introduction to export import logistics, different modes of transport, multi modal transport system. roles of customs house agent, freight forwarders, shipping agents, air cargo agents, NVOCC, CFS, ICD operators, types of cargo, palletization, containerization, FCL/LCL shipment, vessel and air cargo operations, types shipping, INCOTERMS 2020, bill of lading, air way bill and its importance in logistics, introduction to customs clearance procedure, customs bonded warehouses and documents required for clearance.

Interested candidates aged above 18 years and passed Class X may register their names on the EDII website.

Entrepreneurs who are already in export business may also enrol to sharpen their skills.
