Railways commences time-tabled container train services on specified routes connecting JN Port

In order to ensure timely connection of ex-im cargo containers, the Railways has commenced ‘Time-Tabled Container Train Services’ on specific routes, which will immensely facilitate the trade, informed a communication by JNPT.

Time-tabled train services have commenced on scheduled path on the following specified routes:

• Daily service from MMLP Khapri (PCPK) to JN Port. Time of Departure – 23:10 hours
• Daily service from JN Port to Dadri. Time of Departure – 05:35 hours
• Tri-weekly (Tue., Thu., Sat.) from Tughlakabad to JN Port. Time of Departure – 03:00 hours
• Daily service from Sanat Nagar (CSTN) to JN Port. Time of Departure – 02:50 hours
• Tri-weekly (Mon., Wed., Fri.) from Dadri to JN Port. Time of Departure – 00:30 hours
• Tri-weekly (Mon., Wed., Fri.) from Kanpur (CPC) to JN Port. Time of Departure – 15:20 hours

This scheduled running of trains will help the trade in ensuring timely connection of ex-im cargo containers, the communiqué stressed.
