Pratima Singh (IRS) appointed as Director in DPIIT

 NEW DELHI : Pratima Singh, an IRS officer from the 2009 batch, has been selected for the prestigious role under the Central Staffing Scheme. Her appointment as Director in DPIIT is for a period of five years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever comes earlier. Singh’s selection was recommended by the Department of Revenue, where she was previously serving.

The order issued by the DoPT emphasizes the prompt transition of Pratima Singh to her new assignment. It states, “She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.”
