GMU signs MoU with AMA to collaborate on joint training programmes, events, and research in management.

GANDHINAGAR : Gujarat Maritime University (GMU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) to collaborate on joint training programmes, events, and research in management.

This partnership will benefit students, researchers, industry professionals, and other stakeholders, while creating awareness about opportunities in the maritime sector in India & globally.

On 6th August 2025, at the GMU campus, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeevi Shanthakumar , Provost of GMU, and Shri Unmesh Dixit, Executive Director of AMA, explored future initiatives and shared past achievements. Faculty and officers from both institutions participated with great enthusiasm.

This MoU marks a step towards innovation, industry–academia synergy, and preparing future-ready maritime leaders.
