Adani Hazira Container Terminal sets new operational benchmark – handles record 78,357 TEUs in October 2025

HAZIRA : Adani Hazira Container Terminal (AHCT) has achieved a remarkable operational milestone, handling 78,357 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in October 2025 — its highest-ever monthly throughput.

This record-setting performance underscores the terminal’s growing role as a key gateway for EXIM (export-import) trade in the western region of India. The surge in cargo volumes was driven by enhanced operational efficiency, faster vessel turnaround times, and strong collaborations with shipping lines and trade partners.

Located strategically near Surat, AHCT serves as a crucial hub for industries across Gujarat and northern India.
