DPA Kandla accelerates momentum in decarbonization projects with British delegation visit
GANDHIDHAM : Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) Kandla continues to advance its decarbonization and green-energy initiatives, marking another milestone with the visit of a high-level British delegation supported by GH2 India. The delegation was led by the British Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Stephen Thomas Hickling.

During the visit, the delegation toured India’s first 1 MW Indigenous Green Hydrogen Plant located at Kandla Port. The team commended DPA Kandla’s rapid strides in establishing clean-energy infrastructure, adopting green-port innovations, and strengthening its position within India’s emerging Green Hydrogen value chain.
The delegation also acknowledged Kandla’s growing potential to become a major driver of India’s national and global green-fuel ambitions. With its expanding capabilities, DPA Kandla is steadily shaping itself into a strategic hub for sustainable maritime and energy transition projects.
