DPA Kandla bags Green Gateway Award for record cargo performance

GOA : Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla has achieved a remarkable double milestone, securing two prestigious national recognitions for its excellence in sustainability and operational performance.

DPA Kandla has been honoured with the Green Gateway Award – Green Visionary Port of the Year at SustainPort India 2025 held in Goa. The award, presented by the Mission Energy Foundation, acknowledges the port’s significant strides in environmental stewardship and its forward-looking approach to sustainable port operations. Capt. Pradeep Mohanty, Deputy Conservator, received the award on behalf of the Port Authority.

Chairman DPA, Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, lauded the collective efforts of the port community, attributing the achievement to DPA’s consistent commitment to green initiatives, energy efficiency, clean operations and its broader vision for a sustainable maritime ecosystem.
