GANDHIDHAM: Deendayal Port Authority has issued a Work Order to TuTr Hyperloop Private Limited for a Linear Induction Motor–based mobility technology demonstration, dated 04.12.2025 and awarded at the DPA Administrative Office in Gandhidham by Chairman Shri Sushil Kumar Singh.

The project will be executed in three phases: The development and testing of a sub-scale pod and track powered by a Linear Induction Motor at Berth 16; second, a demonstration of a magnetic levitation (maglev) system; and third, the implementation of a full-scale cargo movement corridor. Deendayal Port will serve as the site for this multi-phase mobility program..

This multi-phase program sets up a structured path for testing LIM technology, transitioning to maglev systems, and finally validating a cargo-movement corridor designed for port operations. It establishes a framework for future trials, system integration, and the evaluation of high-speed, low-friction transport solutions within a port environment.

Dr. Aravind Bharadwaj, Co-Founder, TuTr Hyperloop, commented, “We are honored to work with DPA on this milestone LIM-based mobility project, India’s first deep-tech mobility demonstration. This collaboration accelerates the country’s journey toward advanced, made in India engineered high-speed transportation systems. It marks an important step in transforming future port logistics and promoting the Prime Minister’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat & Viksit Bharat 2047.”
