CMA CGM welcomes LNG-Powered CMA CGM VENDOME to its fleet

MARSEILLE : CMA CGM has marked another milestone in its fleet expansion with the official naming of CMA CGM VENDOME, a 23,000 TEU dual-fuel LNG container vessel, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to decarbonized shipping and sustainable global trade.

The naming ceremony was conducted under the command of Captain Anton Tache, with Ms. Feng Ping, Vice President of CHERY International, serving as the vessel’s Godmother. The event underscored the strong and growing partnership between CMA CGM and leading global industrial players.

Flying the flag of Singapore, CMA CGM VENDOME will be deployed on the Group’s FAL3 service, one of the world’s premier Asia–Europe trade corridors. With its large capacity and LNG dual-fuel capability, the vessel is designed to significantly reduce emissions while supporting high-volume, efficient cargo movement between key global markets.

The addition of CMA CGM VENDOME reflects CMA CGM’s ongoing investment in next-generation vessels and innovative technologies, aligning with its strategy to accelerate the energy transition in maritime transport and contribute to more sustainable international supply chains.
