VoC Port crosses 6 lakh TEUs in FY 2025–26, registers nearly 8% YoY growth

TUTICORIN : V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VoCPA), Tuticorin, has achieved a significant operational milestone by handling over 6 lakh TEUs of container traffic during the current financial year 2025–26, marking a robust year-on-year growth of 7.93%.

This strong performance underscores the Port’s continued focus on infrastructure upgradation, operational efficiency, and service reliability, which have collectively driven sustained growth in containerized cargo movement. The milestone reflects increased trade activity and growing confidence among shipping lines, exporters, and logistics stakeholders.
