CMA CGM informs PSS from Asia to North Europe

MARSEILLE : CMA CGM introduced the peak season surcharge (PSS) on cargo moving from Asia to North Europe, citing continued market pressure and strong seasonal demand.

The mentioned surcharges will be effective from December 29th 2025, and will apply to shipments loaded from key Asian origins, including China, Southeast Asia and the Indian Subcontinent, to ports across North Europe. CMA CGM said the PSS is aimed at covering rising operational and network costs during the peak shipping period.

CMA CGM has advised customers to check applicable rates and effective dates, which may vary by port pair and container type, as global container markets remain volatile.
