“The past year has shown how sharply global container logistics is changing. Freight cycles are unpredictable, inland networks are stretched, and asset utilisation continues to lag in many markets. The industry has reached a point where traditional repositioning models can no longer absorb rising volumes or cost pressures. Efficiency now depends on digital visibility, faster planning, EV trucking adoption, and circular use of existing assets.

This has shaped how we operate at MatchLog. We have built our platform around the practical requirement of reducing empty mileage and improving turnaround time. By widening our network across major manufacturing hubs, strengthening relationships with shipping lines and port operators, scaling our transporter base, and supporting the gradual shift toward EV trucking, we have been able to convert idle container movements into productive cycles. The results have been substantial. Turnaround time has reduced to around four days, and reuse transactions are delivering measurable freight savings and carbon reduction. The year has also reinforced the importance of collaboration. Our growth has come from working with partners who see operational efficiency as the first step toward sustainability and who are increasingly willing to adapt to newer digital platforms and technologies. As the industry moves towards technology-led circular practices, our focus has been to offer systems that create immediate economic value while building long-term environmental impact.

“The coming year will be shaped by how quickly the logistics industry adopts circular, data-led, and technology-driven operating models. Container shortages, higher inland transport costs, and pressure to reduce emissions are creating a clear shift in priorities. Companies are looking for solutions that improve asset productivity without adding new infrastructure. This environment strengthens the relevance of reuse-led networks. Our focus at MatchLog is to scale this model across India and Southeast Asia, where dense trade flows create strong matching opportunities. 

We are expanding coverage across key ports, increasing multimodal linkages including EV trucking corridors and deepening system integration with shipping lines and transport operators. As these integrations mature, reuse planning will become more predictable, automated, and aligned with the industry’s growing willingness to adopt newer platforms and technologies.
