Gujarat Pipavav Port highlights role of ports in Clean Energy and Digital Logistics at VGRC 2026

RAJKOT : Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd. participated in the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) 2026, contributing to high-level industry dialogues focused on shaping India’s port infrastructure and clean energy future. The port was represented by its Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Clint Carmichael, across multiple strategic sessions.

At the CEO Roundtable, Mr. Carmichael underlined that the transition from onshore to nearshore wind energy is not merely a technological shift, but a logistics- and port-led transformation. This was followed by a CII-aligned panel discussion on building a “Digital Logistics Ecosystem,” focusing on the importance of real-time infrastructure monitoring and technology-led efficiency in port and logistics operations.

Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd. extends its gratitude to the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Gujarat Maritime Board for convening these impactful industry discussions. Together, these engagements reaffirm the port’s commitment to enabling future-ready, sustainable infrastructure through collaboration, innovation, and effective execution.
