THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Adani Vizhinjam Port has achieved a significant operational milestone, recording its highest-ever monthly cargo throughput in May 2026, further strengthening its position as one of India’s fastest-growing transshipment hubs.
The port handled an impressive 1,30,863 TEUs across 55 vessels during May 2026, marking a new benchmark in its operational journey and reflecting growing confidence among global shipping lines and trade stakeholders.
Since commencing operations in July 2024, Adani Vizhinjam has demonstrated remarkable growth momentum, successfully handling 961 vessels and more than 20.18 lakh TEUs, underscoring its expanding role in India’s maritime and container logistics landscape.
