HSL Undocks Three Vessels 7 Days ahead of Schedule

VISAKHAPATNAM: In another significant achievement for its Ship Repair Complex, Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) successfully undocked two Naval platform and a Coast Guard vessel 7 days ahead of schedule.

Afloat repairs of Great Ship Prachi was also completed within scheduled timelines, while maintaining repair and refit works on several other Defence and Commercial vessels. The accomplishment highlights HSL’s growing capability to execute multiple complex repair projects simultaneously with efficiency, precision and adherence to timelines despite adverse weather conditions.

The seamless execution of the operation was made possible through meticulous planning, close inter-agency coordination and the dedicated efforts of Team HSL. Accelerated dry dock activities enabled the early completion of repairs without compromising quality, safety or operational standards.

With multiple Defence and Commercial vessels currently under repair and a robust pipeline of upcoming orders, HSL’s Ship Repair Complex continues to enhance its operational capacity while reducing vessel turnaround time. The increasing return of vessels to Visakhapatnam reflects the growing confidence of customers in HSL’s quality, timely execution and dependable ship repair services.
