Indian Ports Association (IPA) extends ₹5 crore assistance to Assam flood relief

GUWAHATI: Standing with flood-affected people in Assam, the Indian Ports Association (IPA) has contributed ₹5 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Senior officials of the Indian Ports Association, Shri Sushil Kumar Singh and Shri Vikas Narwale, met Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati today and handed over the contribution.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal said, “This contribution is a meaningful step towards the Union Government’s broader efforts to support Assam and stand with our people during this difficult time.”

The assistance is expected to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for flood-affected people across the state.
