BANGKOK: Gulftainer has taken a significant step in its international expansion with a strategic investment in Suksawat Terminal on Thailand’s Chao Phraya River, marking the Group’s entry into one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic trade and manufacturing markets.
Located south of Bangkok, Suksawat Terminal serves key import and export flows across Greater Bangkok and provides direct connectivity to Laem Chabang, Thailand’s principal deep-sea port. The investment will support enhancements to the terminal’s capacity, productivity, and service offering, creating more efficient links between Thailand’s industrial centers and global markets.
This move reflects Gulftainer’s long-term vision of building integrated trade and logistics platforms that combine ports, logistics, industrial infrastructure, and maritime connectivity. Leveraging the capabilities of GT Ports, GT Logistics, GT Parks, and GT Lines, the Group aims to strengthen supply chain efficiency and unlock new opportunities for customers across Thailand and the wider ASEAN region.
A new market. A long-term commitment. Another step in connecting Asia to the world.
