GOA: Chowgule & Company’s Shipbuilding Division has successfully launched SKRETTING HILDE (Vessel C-297), the fifth vessel in a series of 6,000 DWT multi-purpose dry cargo vessels equipped with diesel-electric propulsion, being built for VERTOM at its Rassaim Shipyard in Goa.
The successful launch marks another significant milestone in the company’s ongoing shipbuilding programme and underscores its continued focus on engineering excellence, innovation and the development of India’s maritime capabilities.
Fifth Vessel in 6,000 DWT Shipbuilding Series
According to a post shared by Chowgule and Company Shipbuilding Division on LinkedIn, SKRETTING HILDE is the fifth vessel in the series of 6,000 DWT multi-purpose dry cargo vessels being constructed for VERTOM.
The vessel features diesel-electric propulsion, reflecting the technical capabilities being incorporated into the shipbuilding programme.
