BENGALURU: Adani Logistics, through its ICD Malur-Bangalore, has partnered with MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company to launch a dedicated Export Rake Service, creating a direct rail-linked connection between the industrial and manufacturing clusters around Bengaluru and global markets through Ennore Port.
The new service is aimed at strengthening export connectivity for businesses across Karnataka by providing a dedicated and predictable rail transportation solution from the Bengaluru hinterland to the deep-water facilities at Ennore Port.
The dedicated rake service is expected to support exporters with faster transit, improved schedule reliability and better coordination with vessel connections, helping streamline the movement of export containers from manufacturing centres to the gateway port.
The partnership also provides an integrated multimodal logistics solution, enabling exporters to optimise their supply chains while reducing dependence on long-haul road transportation. By facilitating greater use of rail for container movement, the service can also contribute to improved logistics efficiency and lower transportation-related emissions.
The initiative strengthens the connection between Karnataka’s major manufacturing and export clusters and international shipping networks, providing regional exporters with a more seamless route to global markets.
The collaboration between Adani Logistics and MSC reflects a shared focus on developing efficient, resilient and sustainable logistics solutions that can support the growing export requirements of Bengaluru and its surrounding industrial hinterland.
