NEW DELHI : The Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) has placed a significant order valued at ₹87.15 crore, including GST, for the supply of 12 rakes of BLSS wagons along with BVCM Brake Vans, strengthening its rail freight equipment capacity.
The contract has been awarded to the Chief Workshop Manager, Golden Rock Workshop, Southern Railway, Tiruchirapalli, a domestic supplier under the Indian Railways network.
Under the order, Golden Rock Workshop will supply 12 rakes of BLSS wagons, along with BVCM Brake Vans, to CONCOR. The procurement is expected to support the company’s continuing focus on strengthening its rail-based container transportation capabilities.
