Central Govt reshuffles & transfers top officials of MoRTH and DPIIT

NEW DELHI : The government on Thursday appointed Rajesh Kumar Singh, Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, as secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). Singh has replaced Anurag Jain, an officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.

The current DPIIT Secretary Anurag Jain has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) while the Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Rajesh Kumar Singh has been designated as DPIIT Secretary.
