DB Schenker’s new CEO of Greater China Cluster is Vishal Sharma

MUMBAI : From today December 1, 2021, Vishal Sharma will assume the role of CEO of the Greater China Cluster for DB Schenker. Vishal has led the Indian Subcontinent Cluster very successfully since joining May 2018 and is a highly regarded transformational leader, overseeing strong growth and performance in the cluster, even amid trying times in the past two years, reads the DB Schenker LinkedIn post.

Mr Sharma joined DB Schenker in May 2018 as the CEO of the Indian Subcontinent Cluster, “overseeing strong growth and performance, even amid trying times in the past two years”, it said.

“I am humbled and honoured to be joining the Greater China Cluster team, which occupies pride of place and plays a significant role in the success of the organisation,” Mr Sharma said

As the company is still searching for Vishal’s successor, Vivek Chopra, head of air freight Indian Subcontinent Cluster, will be acting cluster CEO during the interim.

“Together with the Indian Subcontinent Cluster Management Team, He will ensure continuity and a smooth & seamless transition,” it reads.
