Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla creates a new landmark of highest shipment

GANDHIDHAM : A new landmark was created in the annals of Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla when, M.V. GCL GODAVARI left berth no. Cargo Jetty No-16 at 15:45 Hrs on 18-09-2023, with a consignment of 1,16,000 MT of Salt in bulk, thus becoming the vessel with highest parcel loaded in the Kandla Harbour area, surpassing the previous record of highest shipment of 1,03,800 MT. M.V. GCL GODAVARI sailed with a draft of 14.5 Mtrs.

M.V. GCL GODAVARI loaded the cargo shipped by THE KUTCH SALT AND ALLIED INDUSTRIES. CHOWGHULE BROTHERS PVT. LTD. is the vessel agent and the ship was stevedored by GAUTAM FREIGHT PVT. LTD.
