Exim Club and Registered Chamber of Commerce organised a Seminar on ‘Atmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme and Industrial Policy 2020’

VADODARA : Exim Club in association with District Industries Centre , organized a Seminar on Atmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme and Industrial Policy 2020 on 18th January 2023 at Hotel Grand Mercure, Vadodara, Gujarat.The speaker for the same was Shri Shakti Thakor, Joint Commissioner Of Industries and General Manager, District Industries Centre, Vadodara and Shri Ravi Oza, MSME Helpdesk Executive, District Industries Centre, Vadodara.

Government of Gujarat has taken many initiative and policy measures to create a conducive business environment in the state. This Seminar briefly discussed about the Industrial Policy and various incentives and subsidies schemes of Government of Gujarat available to MSME’s and Manufacturing Sector.
Our Honourable Prime Minister in his 75 Year Independence Day has laid down a clear vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, a developed country. This envisions an India with a reduced Import dependence and same time Make In India and India to become an Export Hub and to place our Country being amongst the fastest growing economies in the World. In order to facilitate the same, The Government of India and Gujarat Government has been undertaking various initiatives include undertaking reforms for ease of doing business, relaxation of FDI limits with investment-friendly policies to support industries and boost local manufacturing thus Indian companies to achieve growth and create employment opportunities in State and to compete in Global market.

“Business is in the blood of Gujarati’s, Our Gujarat is the most industrialized and fastest growing state in India with the highest contribution to the national manufacturing output. Under the Industrial Policy, the Atmanirbhar Gujarat Schemes, the State Government will provide the assistance to promote the MSME’s and other sector by providing the incentives in way of capital subsidy, interest subsidy, power charges exemption etc. to support financially to their business thus encourage MSME sector” said, President , Exim Club, Mr. Rajan Nair.
