MoPSW begins celebration of National Maritime Week 2023

NEW DELHI : The National Maritime Day on April 5 celebrates the glorious history of India’s maritime tradition.

On the commencement of the National Maritime Week 2023, the first “Merchant Navy Flag” was pinned on the lapel of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi by Union Minister of Port, Shipping & Waterways, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal.

Shri Sudhansh Pant, IAS, Secretary, MoPSW and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
