Paradip Port Authority secures top national honours at Sagar Aankalan Awards

MUMBAI : Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has achieved significant national recognition at the prestigious Sagar Aankalan Awards, conferred by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, reaffirming its strong performance and operational excellence in cargo handling.

Paradip Port Authority secured the 1st Rank in India for Dry Bulk Cargo Performance and the 3rd Rank in India for Container Cargo Performance, underscoring the port’s robust operational capabilities and sustained contribution to India’s maritime and trade ecosystem.

The awards were presented by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Union Minister for Ports, Shipping & Waterways, during a special ceremony held in Mumbai.
