SCI welcomes SS Disha at Dahej following successful transit through Strait of Hormuz
DAHEJ : The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. (SCI) marked the successful arrival of SS Disha at Dahej, Gujarat, following the vessel’s safe transit through the strategically significant Strait of Hormuz.
Capt. Som Raj, Director (Personnel & Administration), along with the SCI team, welcomed the vessel upon its arrival, acknowledging the professionalism, dedication, and resilience demonstrated by the ship’s crew throughout the voyage.
The successful operation was made possible through meticulous planning, seamless coordination among multiple stakeholders, and the unwavering commitment of the vessel’s Master, Chief Engineer, officers, and crew members, who ensured the safe and efficient completion of the voyage under challenging circumstances.
SCI expressed its gratitude to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, the Directorate General of Shipping, the Government of India, all concerned agencies, and its joint venture partners for their continued guidance, support, and trust.
