Shipping Secretary inaugurates HSE Conclave hosted by Cochin Shipyard
KOCHI : Shri T.K. Ramachandran, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (MoPSW) inaugurated HSE Conclave hosted by Cochin Shipyard Ltd (CSL). at Dolphin Club, CSL, Kochi on Thursday. The event scheduled on May 9 & 10 to brings together leading Indian shipyards in a collective endeavor to foster a robust culture of safety & excellence within Indian shipbuilding & ship repair facilities.
The two-day International Maritime Safety Conclave, “SAMSRYA”, organised by CSL was inaugurated by Shri T K Ramachandran, IAS Secretary in presence of Shri Madhu S Nair, Chairman & Managing Director, CSL and renowned HSE Leaders and other Industry experts.
Shri T K Ramachandran, IAS, Secretary, MoPSW also inspected India’s First Indigenous Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vessel built by CSL, which is set to be handed over shortly to IWAI for deployment.
Shri T K Ramachandran, IAS, Secretary, MoPSW also took Review of CSL during his visit to Kochi. While appreciating CSL’s performance, Secretary emphasised on continued focus on technology and excellence in ship building and ship repair.
