MoPSW Secretary reviews road connectivity to Vadhvan Port

NEW DELHI : A review meeting, Chaired by Secretary , Ministry of Ports and Shipping Shri T.K. Ramachandran (IAS), was held to ensure effective and expedited implementation of Vadhvan Port Project at Transport Bhawan, here. Shri Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, Chairperson, JNPA & CMD, VPPL and other dignatories attended the meeting.

In a significant step towards the timely execution of the Vadhvan Port project, an 8-lane, 32-kilometre-long road is being developed. Equipped with critical infrastructure, this new road will ensure seamless integration of the port with the national highway network.

. The upcoming mega port at Vadhvan is of national importance and marks a major milestone in the pursuit of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat.
