Adani Krishnapatnam Port achieves Dual Milestones in September 2025
NELLORE: Adani Krishnapatnam Port Ltd. (AKPL) has achieved a double milestone in September 2025, reinforcing its status as one of India’s most efficient multipurpose ports.
The port recorded a discharge of 61,500 MT of iron ore in 24 hours for JSW Steel, setting a new benchmark in bulk cargo handling performance. The operation involved the vessel MV Eurybia and highlighted AKPL’s advanced mechanization, yard logistics, and manpower coordination.
In parallel, AKPL handled its first-ever rock phosphate shipment—13,100 MT imported by Blue Phosphate Ltd via MV Glamor. This successful operation marks AKPL’s entry into a new cargo segment and diversifies its commodity portfolio.
Both milestones demonstrate the port’s strategic focus on operational agility and customer-oriented growth, aligning with Adani Ports & SEZ’s broader vision of strengthening India’s maritime infrastructure.
With these achievements, AKPL further cements its role as a high-performance hub on India’s East Coast, serving industries across steel, energy, fertilizer, and bulk commodities.
