MoPSW honours Maritime Excellence Achievers 2025 at India Maritime Week
MUMBAI: During the India’s biggest maritime event India Maritime Week 2025, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), under its flagship Sagarmala Programme, hosted the prestigious Maritime Excellence Achievers 2025 Awards to honour exceptional organizations and individuals driving innovation, efficiency, and transformation across India’s maritime and logistics sectors.
From shipbuilding and port operations to digital transformation and sustainability, the awards recognised outstanding contributions that reflect the industry’s dynamic evolution and its growing global stature. The ceremony celebrated India’s vision to emerge as a maritime powerhouse built on excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
Among the key winners across categories were:
- Excellence in Shipbuilding & Ship Repair: Cochin Shipyard Ltd and Royal IHC / IHC Holland
- Terminal Operational Excellence: PSA Mumbai and DP World
- Maritime Education & Skill Development: AMET University, IMU Chennai Campus, and Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies
- Digital Transformation Award: DP World and Hapag Lloyd India Pvt. Ltd.
- Indian Port of the Year: Mundra Port (APSEZ) and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority
- Port Sustainability Pioneer: Adani Ports & SEZ and Deendayal Port Authority
