DPA organised Tug of War Competition and T-20 Season ball cricket match to observe ‘National Maritime Day’

GANDHIDHAM : In the observance of ‘National Maritime Day‘, Deendayal Port has organised Tug of War Competition and T-20 Season ball cricket match in night at oval ground of DPA.

The programs were conducted in the august presence of Capt. Santosh Kumar S. Darokar (PO(I/C) MMD- Kandla, Capt. Pradeep Mohanty-DY. Conservator, Shri C. Harichandran-Secretary, Shri B. Bhagyanath-FA&CAO, Shri Sushil Chandra Nahak- CME, Shri Y. K. Singh- Sr.Dy.Secretary, Capt. Lalji Ram Meena-Harbour Master and other Senior officials of DPA. Also Shri. Ch. Peter-president, Shri Mitesh Dharamshi- Treasurer of Kandla steamship agent association, Shri Surojit Chakrowory- Vice.President Kandla Custom Broker Association, Shri Sharad Shetty- Vice President of Kandla Ship Chandlers Association and other Senior Port users were remain present in the function.

The tug of war match was played between DPA v/a Port Users in which DPA team won by 2-0.

After that 20-20 season ball cricket match was played between team of DPA v/s Port User.
DPA scored 227 runs in 20 overs with fall of 4 wickets.

While chasing the score, Team of Port Users scored 113 runs in 20 overs with fall of 7 wickets.
DPA team won the match by 114 runs.
