MORMUGAO: Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) has achieved a new milestone in port performance by recording an all-time high loading performance of 37,405 metric tonnes (MT) in 24 hours on August 26, 2026.
The record reflects MPA’s continued focus on enhancing operational efficiency, productivity and cargo-handling capabilities, further strengthening its position as an important maritime gateway on India’s western coast.
Achieving such a high loading rate in a single 24-hour period demonstrates the Port’s ability to optimise cargo-handling operations, coordinate resources effectively and ensure seamless vessel turnaround.
