Sporting achievement: Kuehne + Nagel takes over the logistics for Team Germany

SCHINDELLEGI : Kuehne + Nagel is the new key partner for the Olympic Team Germany and Team Germany Paralympics. The partnership includes the Winter Games in Beijing in February 2022 and the Summer Games in Paris in 2024.
For Team Germany, Kuehne + Nagel will take over all transport and logistics services from Germany to China and back in Beijing in 2022 – including transporting the sports equipment and equipment for the 400 athletes and setting up the infrastructure on site. With its many years of expertise and specialists in Germany and China, the company can react flexibly to rapidly changing logistics requirements.
The two partners set a new standard for the logistics of sports and major events in order to minimize the CO2 emissions of the transports. The Kuehne + Nagel expo and events team is in charge of the project and is already relying on environmentally friendly and sustainable supply chain solutions for such major international events.
