DPT creates new Milestone of handling longest Wind Mill Blades amongst Major Ports

GANDHIDHAM: Deendayal Port Trust (DPT) recently handled Wind Mill Blades of length 83.3 mtrs (275 ft) by port owned Harbour Mobile Crane. It is the longest length cargo handled by any of the Major Ports of India and first shipment from Asian Continent.

The Cargo from Vessel NORDIC was berthed at Berth No. 16 on 29th December and sailed for Denmark on 31st December 2020.

In the days to come, Port is preparing to handle even more lengthy cargo of 104 mtrs.

Shri S K Mehta, IFS, Chairman – DPT congratulated the DPT Team for achieving this milestone.
