Shri T.K. Ramachandran (IAS), Secretary, MoPSW chaired a high-level meeting with Shri Shyam Jagannathan(IAS), DG, Directorate General of Shipping on Thursday (June 5, 2025) to review the progress of various multidisciplinary cells working on key maritime areas such as Ship Registration, Licensing, Taxation, Shipbuilding, Seafarers’ Affairs, Training & more.
Shipping Secretary also underlined the pivotal role of DG Shipping in realizing India’s Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047.
