BHADRAK : Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone has announced a significant operational milestone at Dhamra Port in Odisha, with the newly commissioned mechanised loading system at Export Terminal Berth 4 commencing commercial operations.
The new system successfully handled MV APJ JAOUAD, marking the beginning of a new phase in the port’s efforts to enhance the speed, efficiency and reliability of bulk cargo handling.
The commissioning of the mechanised loading facility represents an important upgrade to Dhamra Port’s export-handling infrastructure. By introducing greater mechanisation into cargo loading operations, the facility is expected to support faster vessel turnaround, improved cargo-handling efficiency and more streamlined bulk cargo movement, while strengthening the port’s ability to cater to growing trade requirements.
