MUMBAI: PSA Mumbai has achieved a new milestone in container handling performance, setting fresh monthly and weekly records in October 2026, reflecting its operational efficiency, workforce commitment and continued focus on delivering reliable services to customers and industry partners.
The terminal handled an unprecedented 313,500 TEUs during October, establishing a new monthly benchmark. Adding to this achievement, PSA Mumbai also registered its highest-ever weekly throughput of 80,500 TEUs during the final week of the month, demonstrating its ability to manage high cargo volumes while maintaining operational efficiency.
Another significant achievement was the management of nearly 85,000 truck movements without any congestion at the terminal gates. This performance highlights the effectiveness of the terminal’s operational coordination, gate management and collaboration among its workforce and logistics partners.
